Ladies, if you are yet to stumble accross this oh so cool website, i suggest you surf over to it immediately!
Founder Sophia Amoruso planted the seed just five years ago when she created a store on eBay selling vintage pieces. The store blossomed into what is now the international web success,
Nasty Gal.
Inspired by the Betty Davis song/album Nasty Gal, the site offers new and vintage shoes, clothing and accessories.
"Giving you not just what the fashion doctor ordered, but truly unique items that can't be found elsewhere."
To give you a little taste, I've picked out a few fave pieces I've come accross...... and may soon have to purchase.
I'm loving angular motifs at the mo! This diamond stripe skirt is £24.07
(prices are converted from US dollar$)
This silver ring is etched with angels holding up a crystal ball and set with blue stones. AMAZE! £12.67
Memo: never let the weather deter your fashion choices...ever. It may be icy cold outside but this maxi skirt (£50.68) with thigh-high split is to die for. It would look rad with DM boots, chunky ankle boots as pictured, or with a statement pair of heels. There is a definite 90's revival going on at the moment and this fits right in.
I'm a definite fan of fun, slogan tee's and this 'GO TO HELL FOR HEAVENS SAKE' tank incorporates the angular and cross designs that are bang on trend. Teamed perfectly here with leopard leggings for a grunge look, it would also look cool with leather look leggings or with a pair of cut off denim shorts.
Retails at £43.08
Head over to www.nastygal.com to check out what other treasures they have in stock. Their vintage selection has an awesome range of old skool tee's and their international shipping rate is a barg at $15.
You can also read their up to date blog and see what goes on behind the Nasty Gal scenes.
Enjoy!
