Aint She A Doll! Kendall Jenner Embodies Real Life Barbie For Fashion's Night Out.

Kendall Jenner, younger sister to the Kardashian Klan, is taking centre stage as the face of Fashion's Night Out. In this stunning shot, Miss Jenner takes the form of a real life doll delicately placed in a shoe box adorned with an orange scarf. The young fashionista is certainly following in her sisters' footsteps as she looks far beyond her 16 years. Channelling Hollywood glam with a classy up-do, firey red lips and some killer purple stiletto's, Kim better watch out!

Kendall is holding her own in the fashion stakes these days as her and younger sister Kylie, 14, are regularly wow-ing us on the red carpet, smouldering in high fashion shoots, or just frolicking around Cali in cute outfits.

The photo, for LA's Beverley Centre, promotes the FNO event run by Vogue which will see celebrities, designers, models and editors flocking to stores worldwide on September 6 for a simultaneous celebration of FASHION!

DIAL 1-855-NASTY-GAL

Ladies, if you are yet to stumble accross this oh so cool website, i suggest you surf over to it immediately!

Founder Sophia Amoruso planted the seed just five years ago when she created a store on eBay selling vintage pieces. The store blossomed into what is now the international web success,
Nasty Gal.

Inspired by the Betty Davis song/album Nasty Gal, the site offers new and vintage shoes, clothing and accessories.
"Giving you not just what the fashion doctor ordered, but truly unique items that can't be found elsewhere."

To give you a little taste, I've picked out a few fave pieces I've come accross...... and may soon have to purchase.

I'm loving angular motifs at the mo! This diamond stripe skirt is £24.07
(prices are converted from US dollar$)

This silver ring is etched with angels holding up a crystal ball and set with blue stones. AMAZE! £12.67

Memo: never let the weather deter your fashion choices...ever. It may be icy cold outside but this maxi skirt (£50.68) with thigh-high split is to die for. It would look rad with DM boots, chunky ankle boots as pictured, or with a statement pair of heels. There is a definite 90's revival going on at the moment and this fits right in.

I'm a definite fan of fun, slogan tee's and this 'GO TO HELL FOR HEAVENS SAKE' tank incorporates the angular and cross designs that are bang on trend. Teamed perfectly here with leopard leggings for a grunge look, it would also look cool with leather look leggings or with a pair of cut off denim shorts.
Retails at £43.08

Head over to www.nastygal.com to check out what other treasures they have in stock. Their vintage selection has an awesome range of old skool tee's and their international shipping rate is a barg at $15.
You can also read their up to date blog and see what goes on behind the Nasty Gal scenes.
Enjoy!

Couture Goes Back To Black

Designer heavyweight Jean-Paul Gaultier unveiled his new couture collection last night inspired by the late Amy Winehouse. Following her death in July, Gaultier has crafted a line of stunning pieces reminiscent of Amy's kitsch 1950's style. From capri pants, corsets and polka dot prints, to cinched waists and a Fred Perry-esque dress, the catwalk show was all about Amy. Models donned the iconic beehive wigs, winged eyeliner and beauty spots, with a few going the extra mile by strutting the catwalk fag-in-hand to the sound of 'Rehab'.

Winehouse was, despite tabloids reporting otherwise, a style icon and before her tragic death teamed up with her favourite design house Fred Perry to create her own collection. To now have a couture collection inspired by her alone, is a fitting tribute to the singer.

Was Partying A Seal Breaker For Heidi?

It saddens me to type and therefore admit that Seal and Heidi Klum (above) are parting ways, putting an end to their 8 year relationship. WAAA!

The singer and model released a joint statement on Monday to confirm the split, saying they had grown apart. After being Hollywood's golden couple for the last 8 years, I wonder, what is the hope for the rest of us?!
The couple met back in 2004 and the fact Heidi was pregnant with businessman Flavio Briatore's child didn't stop the sparks flying as Seal proposed to the supermodel in December that same year.
In May 2006 the oh-so-cute couple started an even cuter tradition of renewing their wedding vows every year. From trailer park ceremonies, fancy dress to Indian saree's, the pair made a new declaration of love to each other every year on their anniversary, cementing them as the ultimate celeb couple....
SO WHERE DID IT ALL GO BLOODY WRONG?!

The couple still looked close as ever on holiday in December
 It's rumoured that Seal began to party a tad more than usual, especially when the family (including their four children) holidayed in Ibiza last summer. A source reported to the Daily Mirror;
"Seal hit it hard, was out at clubs and with his friends a lot and Heidi was left with their kids trying to enjoy herself. The cracks were appearing and everybody was talking during that trip. He seemed off the rails.
They've spent a lot of time apart too on work assignments and that hasn't helped matters. Then when Seal came back to the UK to do promotional work for his next album, he seemed sleepy and not with it on shows like Loose Women, when he was very late for his appearance.'

He added fuel to the fire last Friday when the Kiss From A Rose singer updated his Twitter to simply read 'The End', only for their statement to be released days later.  appearances on Ellen DeGeneres' and Piers Morgan's shows were soon to follow where Heidi's ex had only good things to say about his marriage.
Speaking to comedienne Ellen he explained
'The thing that I’m most proud about this great woman who I married - and I really do mean that from the bottom of my heart - is that together she has given me four incredible gifts, four beautiful children.
'She still, in my opinion, is the most wonderful woman in the world. 'We still very much love each other.'
Aww. After the demise of this relationship all I can say is....David and Victoria-it rests in your hands!!

Heidi and Seal's full official statement (tear!)

'While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage,
after much soul-searching we have decided to separate.
'We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship
and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart.
'This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top
priority, especially during this time of transition.
'We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our
children’s sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy.'

Will Judges Have The X-Factor??

Barlow with finalist Marcus Collins

As the X-Factor final draws closer, various names including Coldplay have been thrown into the ring in speculation of who the finalists will perform with.
For the first time in the shows' history, the judges themselves are now rumoured to be stepping up to the plate. Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and Tulisa (no second name required) are set to perform with their acts on Saturday's final at Wembley.
Good job Louis doesn't have an act left, although a Louis/Kitty duet would've been compelling viewing I'm sure!

Rowland with the last of her gals Amelia-Lily

Gary has previously performed in an X-Factor final, back in 2006 with Leona Lewis who won the show. Kelly gave it her all for her performance on last weeks results show, whereas Tulisa received rather negative feedback after her shaky vocals at the Children In Need concert.

Tulisa enjoying some down time with her "little muffins" Little Mix

Hopefully the judges will pull through for their acts in a last bid to see them crowned 2011's winner.
We'll have to wait until Saturday to find out...

A Bieber/Cocozza Bromance...Surely?

Justin Bieber and Frankie Cocozza - no flipping manners

Sex, drugs and....well, not really rock n roll, maybe pop n roll...have got these boys in the tabloids more than once lately.
Cocozza recently proved he had the axe factor after being given the boot from ITV's talent show for breaking a 'golden rule' aka, frequently getting a wee bit tipsy and doing cocaine backstage. Naughty!
When the X-Factor began I think a large amount of viewers liked Frankie's cheeky Robbie Williams-esque charm and personally, I quite liked that he didn't take the show too seriously. The skinny jeaned tyke just wanted to sing a few songs so he could pull birds and never pretended to be anything more.

 To his delight, Cocozza
has been making
front page news,
left and above.

The eighteen year old caused a ruckus in the house by returning from drunken nights out with girls in tow and openly saying on camera that he "got wasted, got laid". This didn't go down well with the squeaky clean image that X-Factor tries to maintain. It was imminent that poor old Frank would leave sooner or later, but with the amount of exposure he's had the lad will be lapping up the female attention now which, essentially, it what he wanted; Fame and Girls.

Across the pond, little Justin Bieber isn't really so little anymore. Causing a stir with pics surfacing of him groping girlfriend Selena Gomez, below, and kissing in public (pretty standard for a teenage boy), a questioned paternity test, and now swearing at the paparazzi. Biebs was at Mr Chows restaurant in Knightsbridge last night and evidently got a bit peeved with the paps giving them a golden shot of him flipping his middle fingers. His "Beliebers" will no doubt be in shock!

The hair, the skinny jeans, the "bad boy" behaviour...someone please introduce these two and let a bromance blossom...

Ed Sheeran +1

Ed Sheeran's debut album + dropped Monday 12 September and has dominated the itunes album chart. Ed is currently occupying the top two spots with the deluxe and standard version of his album.

The instant success comes as no surprise after the months and years of Sheeran building his fan base both online and on the road. With an army of fans and youtube plays in the hundred thousands it's a sigh of relief for Ed who has well and truly done his job.

The lyrical content of some tracks, like Wake Me Up are so ingeniously simple, making it relatable to his peers.
"And I think you hate the smell of smoke,
You always try and get me to stop,
But you drink as much as me, and I get drunk a lot"
Ed Sheeran cleverly appeals to the masses with a mix of acoustic love songs filled with sweet, honest and at times, quite funny lyrics, twinned with his more up tempo tracks like You Need Me I Don't Need You demonstrating his wit and mc skills. This variation has been apparent on his different EP's from the chilled Loose Change which included his hit single A-Team, to the No.5 Collaborations Project in which he teamed up with the likes of Devlin and Wiley to create a list of grime tracks.

Ed is playing a host of sold out shows through October starting in Oxford on the 2nd.
